As the final project for one of my classes, I was tasked with looking into one of the bigger issues that surrounds Athens. I decided to look into the Athens Blocks, the famed bricks that characterize the sidewalks and have drawn the ire of people looking for more ADA accessibility. As Digital Managing Editor, I spearheaded the design and creation of the Fall 2024 Print, focusing on the 2024 Presidential Election. 

For one of my classes, I was tasked with creating a profile centering around an important figure in the Athens community. I chose the person who created one of the most celebrated traditions in Southeast Ohio. Click the picture for the full document. 

For my editing class, I made a spread of two articles that were published by the Associated Press. I used my skills in page design to complete this assignment.

I was asked to write a long-form article about something of important in the Athens community. I chose The Ridges, a mental hospital that has since been bought by Ohio University, creating tons of urban legends and rumors among students. Click on the image for a link to the entire document.
